MY MOTHER'S DAY
Hayden and Carson gave me the best mother's day present this year, a day spent with them at the Botanical Garden's. It was so beautiful there. My friend Amanda and I loaded up our kids and headed over there Sat May 9th (the day before mother's day) and spend the entire day photographing our kids. We had a blast. 250 pictures later on Amanda's new camera and 178 pictures later on my camera, our day was complete. I'll gladly go back anyday and the kids really enjoyed themselves. We let them go barefoot, play in the fountains, feed the Koy (fish), and play in the Children's Garden's. My boys slept the entire way home!
LESSONS FROM MOM
The boys have been a little more interested in riding this year, and I must admit Candy has been a trooper. She is 30 years old this year and still going strong. She knows that kisses and treats follow all rides, though. Hayden is even learning not only do we feed, brush and ride horses, but we clean up after them too, and he actually gladly took the job of "pooper-scooper" after we were done riding this day in early May.
T-BALL
T-ball also began at the end of April. Hayden is playing on a coach-pitch league in O'Fallon, IL and is loving it. They all get 3 pitches from the coach before they are offered the T, and so far no one on the team has needed the T for a game. Either great pitching from our coach, great coaching, great hitters or a combination of all three. Carson likes to help catch, and loves to throw the balls back to the coach during games. Our coach is Mark Maxium and he is great with the kids. Kevin actual played ball against him in high school, being he attended our high school rival--West. MORE PICTURES TO COME FROM BALL----WE WILL BE PLAYING THROUGH THE END OF JUNE.

Hayden's 5th Birthday Party

Hayden turned 5 April 21st and we celebrated Hayden's 5th Birthday the sunday before with a Karate party and a BBQ. He had a very eventful weekend. My inlaws took the boys to the St. Louis Supercross (motorcycle racing) event the night before his party (Sat), and a professional motorcross rider showed up at his party the following day. He was so surprised and I think a little overwhelmed. Who would have ever thought, KARATE AND MOTOCROSS combined?. Justin Hanna was the riders name. He signed Autographs for all the kids, summo wresseled with Hayden and Kennady, and then let them all sit on his bike. Hayden was able to rev it up for all the kids as well. I must say that Three Tigers Martial Arts really went above and beyond to help make Hayden's day special. I have know idea how we'll top this next year.hehe
