EASTER

It was cold here on Easter Sunday morning, so thank goodness the Easter Bunny hid eggs in the house. Out of the 13 hardboiled eggs that were hidden outside, the boys only found 7, plus shells from the remaining eggs, so they believe that they became a treat for our dog Sara. Carson was the first one up Easter Sunday morning and got to the obvious eggs first and I found him in his room eating the candy out of them as fast as he could. Hayden was glad that the Easter Bunny took time to hide some eggs in more difficult places and he was more worried about how many eggs he could find rather than what was inside. Carson gets his sweet tooth from his mommy. The day before Easter we had breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Eckerts with their second cousin Emma--boy is she a little beauty queen. The best part though had to be the look on Hayden and Carson's face when guess who got pooped on by a baby duck:).

KARATE

Hayden also started Karate in March which has been a riot to watch. The instructor is great with the kids and Hayden has really enjoyed it, despite being nervous his first two lessons. His buddy Seth is also in his karate class. Carson loves to watch and is learning on the sideline, but when asked if he wants to participate it is a definate NO.

MONSTER JAM

In Febuary, our family went to Monster Jam in St. Louis with several friends and had a blast. The day before the event the boys met Dennis Anderson for the first time and were able to see there favorite driver Tom Meents from the Maximum Destruction truck also. We already have our tickets for next year, and we'll be going with a group of about 30 friends.
